C. Hunter Holland is a shareholder with Richardson, Plowden & Robinson, P.A. and is based in the firm’s Myrtle Beach office. She focuses her practice on medical malpractice, professional malpractice, and insurance defense, representing a variety of healthcare providers and institutions, professionals, and insurers in complex litigation matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Hunter served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable William H. Seals, Jr., an experience that provides her with valuable insight into judicial decision-making and trial strategy. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2019, cum laude. During law school, Hunter served as Associate Managing Editor of the South Carolina Law Review, represented clients as a student attorney in the Education Rights Clinic, and was a member of the International Legal Honor Society Phi Delta Phi. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University in 2016, majoring in Agricultural Education with a minor in Animal and Veterinary Science.
Active in the legal community, Hunter serves on the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association and is co-chair of the Southeastern Women Litigators Conference. She is also a member of the South Carolina and Horry County Bar Associations, Coastal Inn of Court, Coastal Women Lawyers, and the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association. In her spare time, Hunter enjoys traveling with her family and spending time outdoors.
