Associate Attorney - Charleston Office
Richardson Plowden & Robinson, P.A. is seeking an associate attorney with 1-5 years of civil defense litigation experience to join our busy Charleston office. Experience in construction defect defense and government liability preferred. Candidates must have served as a Law Clerk and are licensed to practice law in South Carolina. Legal Assistant - Columbia Office
Richardson Plowden & Robinson P.A., a mid-sized defense firm, is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our busy team in the Columbia office. This position provides administrative and secretarial support, under the direct supervision of the attorney(s). In addition to typing, filing, scheduling, and downloading and saving all documents and files, performs duties such as time keeping, mailing, and assembling highly confidential and sensitive information and other duties as assigned. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize administrative workload.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of legal assistant experience in collections and/or foreclosures, must be an extremely organized and detail oriented self-starter with the ability to multi-task, display initiative, produce an excellent work product and demonstrate a professional demeanor. Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are required. This is a full-time position and offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
