Medical Malpractice Paralegal (Columbia Office)
Richardson Plowden is seeking a paralegal to join our busy Medical Malpractice team in our Columbia office. This position will be primarily responsible for managing any and all scheduling needs for four shareholding attorneys, to include mediations, depositions, hearings, client conferences, etc., and any necessary travel accommodations.
The ideal candidate will be an extremely organized and detail oriented self-starter who is comfortable managing a large number of cases and able to work with little supervision. This person will have the ability to multi-task effectively and prioritize incoming work to meet deadlines and demonstrate a professional demeanor to problem-solve during busy times. Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word and Adobe Pro proficiency are required. Excel and PowerPoint experience is a plus. Part-Time Administrative Assistant (Myrtle Beach Office)
Richardson Plowden is seeking an individual to work part-time to carry out basic administrative and courier duties in our Myrtle Beach office. This position will assist legal staff with the following: performing light reception and clerical work, filing, auditing pre-bills for changes, maintaining expert bank and brief bank, doing court runs, mail runs, purchasing supplies and other office duties as assigned.
Successful candidate will have good computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Suite, reliable transportation, good organizational and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, be able to lift 30-35 pounds and be available to work M-F 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
