Ashwin R. Sanzgiri

Ashwin R. Sanzgiri joined Richardson Plowden in the Columbia office as an associate attorney in 2023. Mr. Sanzgiri focuses his practice in General Litigation.

Mr. Sanzgiri earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law, in 2021. During law school, he was a staff editor for the Journal of Law and Education. He was also the recipient of CALI Awards for Tort Law, Income Taxation, and Consumer Law. While earning his undergraduate degree, Mr. Sanzgiri studied abroad in Rome and Florence, focusing on the Study of Political Theory. Prior to joining Richardson Plowden, he clerked for the Honorable John Cannon Few at the Supreme Court of South Carolina.

Mr. Sanzgiri is no stranger to Richardson Plowden. While earning his law degree, he served as a law clerk with the Firm. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar.
