Lindsey Renee H. Birchmore joined Richardson Plowden in the Columbia office in August of 2024 where she focuses her practice in General Litigation. 

Ms. Birchmore is no stranger to Richardson Plowden. She was previously one of the Firm’s law clerks from May 2023 until she graduated from law school. She earned her Juris Doctor from Cleveland State University College of Law, magna cum laude, in May 2024. Prior to earning her law degree, Ms. Birchmore earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University in 2020. 

During law school, Ms. Birchmore served as the Chief Publications Editor for the Cleveland State Law Review. She was also the President of the Cleveland State University Environmental Law Society. She earned a CALI Award for Health Care Law and Ethics and the Robert D. Kensey Memorial Award for Outstanding Scholarship in Civil Rights.

In addition to serving as a law clerk at Richardson Plowden, Ms. Birchmore also spent time clerking for the Cuyahoga County Public Defender’s Office in Cleveland, Ohio. She was also a legal intern for the Western Reserve Land Conservancy in Moreland Hills, Ohio.
