Lisa A. Thomas joined Richardson Plowden in the Myrtle Beach office in 2022 in the Of Counsel capacity. Ms. Thomas practices in General Litigation defense, specifically insurance defense, civil rights, tort claims, municipal and state agency, and law enforcement defense. She also handles appellate law in state and federal courts, including the South Carolina Court of Appeals and Supreme Court as well as the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and United States Supreme Court.
Ms. Thomas has practiced law in South Carolina for thirty years. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the Horry County Bar Association, and the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association.
