Lydia L. Magee is a shareholder in Richardson Plowden’s Myrtle Beach office. She is an experienced trial lawyer who focuses her practice on the defense of healthcare providers in both professional negligence and licensing matters. She provides representation to a variety of clients including hospitals, physicians, surgeons, chiropractors, dental specialists, nurses, and nursing homes.
Mrs. Magee completed her undergraduate degree at North Carolina State University and attended Law School at the University of South Carolina School of Law. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Kaye G. Heran, Chief Judge of the South Carolina Court of Appeals from 2001 to 2003. Mrs. Magee has over 20 years of experience representing medical facilities and providers in state and federal courts throughout South Carolina including jury and non-jury trials.
When not practicing law, Mrs. Magee enjoys spending time with her family, days outdoors at the beach, and traveling.
