Sarah F. Hawkins joined Richardson Plowden in the Charleston office in an Of Counsel capacity in 2025. Mrs. Hawkins focuses her practice in General Litigation and Construction Law. She has experience representing individuals and entities in construction defect, products liability, professional negligence, premise liability, and personal injury matters. Managing all aspects of pre-trial and trial litigation, including strategy development, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation, Mrs. Hawkins brings more than 15 years of experience to her practice.
Mrs. Hawkins earned her Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law in 2010 and her Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia University in 2007. She was named to Best Lawyers in America’s “Ones to Watch” list in 2021 and was selected as a recipient of the South Carolina Young Lawyers’ Division “Stars of the Quarter” in 2018.
Mrs. Hawkins is a member of the South Carolina Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, District of South Carolina. She is also a member of the Charleston County Bar Association and is the former Chair of the SC Bar’s Cinderella Project.
