Richardson Plowden remembers attorney Lisa A. Thomas

It is with heavy hearts that Richardson Plowden & Robinson, P.A., announces the passing of our beloved Myrtle Beach attorney, Lisa A. Thomas. Lisa fought a long battle with cancer, fighting it to remission 12 years ago, and later, in 2024, battled the disease a second time with her same courage and perseverance. Lisa’s family and friends will miss her humor, her caring nature, and especially, her strength in the face of adversity.
Lisa was a prolific litigator, an outstanding trial attorney in state and federal courts, and a passionate advocate. She will always be remembered for her work ethic and commitment to excellence. Most importantly, she was a loving mother and wife, and she will be dearly missed.
“Lisa was a fantastic advocate for her clients and someone who was well-respected in the government liability sector and professional legal community. She will be greatly missed by all.” – David A. Anderson, Richardson Plowden Attorney
A memorial service will be held on February 15, 2025 at 11 am at the King of Glory Lutheran Church 805 11th Avenue N. North Myrtle Beach, SC. A luncheon reception will be held immediately following the service. Please keep Lisa’s husband, Tony Hernandez, and their 16-year-old son, Duncan, in your thoughts and prayers.
